Actually, later in the Summer is normally harder to find a good date as there's always much more going on...

Since we have a relatively small group and beachrover is close to the meeting spot, how about early on the 22nd? We can make it a bagel and coffee meet. Sure, you can bring your Defender too. Does that work for everyone?

Can't do early Sunday morning, but possibly early afternoon.

Sunday morning maybe doable for me now. No pressure to do this but would be nice to meet up with Long Island rover owners. If not that weekend, there's other options like a centrally located bar/pub or even a Five Guys (something with food, drinks and a parking lot) at a later date.

The rest of August and most of September weekends are booked for me but post a date that may work for everyone else and I'll try to work on making it. Would love to see this happen!

same boat. I'm not free for another 4-5 weeks. Gery, I've got to make it out your way anyway this year before it gets too cold! Did you get that top off? Haven't seen any recent pics.

Sadly no, never took the top off.
Partly due to lack of time/help and I leave it at the train station and like the extra security. Thank God for the AC as I've put the FJ in the garage for the summer.

Btw drinking quality beer is easier on the boat during the fall

I saw a couple of the boys over the weekend and discussed trying to pull a Long Island meet together. Towards the end of April probably works well. Any ideas?
