Ha....I actually have a very nice Sankey - just didn't bring it with me on my NY hiatus. But agreed, it's time to start using it on a regular basis.

Yes- I remembered that...I was confused why you didn't have the neccesary stuff on it! but the cargo straps add such a nice contrast. That 90 sure looks good! (trail rash aside...lol)

He's my truck loaded up with a couple of pelican boxes and a Hannibal roof top tent. Plus some camp chairs and some other stuff you can't see in that picture. It was pretty top heavy, on real curvy roads I had to slow down a little. But I drove it like that for about 3k + miles, basically from my house in Beaumont, TX to Moab, UT (with many stops on the way) and then back. It was a real blast. The back of the truck was loaded solid too. (notice in the picture how low the back was setting...it was loaded) ARB fridge, camp stove and spare parts, basically the truck was wall to wall stuff inside. That's when I decided a D90 was too small for family vacations. 3 people + all your junk + 3 thousand mile road trip was a little tight. Took too much time to setup and take down camp. Cause everything had to be put back exactly like it was or you could not get it all back on the truck. But I would not have changed a thing.

------ Follow up post added July 26th, 2012 10:25 PM ------

Jack, well worth the $$$ huh? I'm doing a trek to outer banks mid sept(hurricane season) and I'll have paddleboards, longboard, shortboards and my other gear to chill on the beach and surf ALL DAY! Awning will be in full effect as well as tons of water a beer or 30 for me and the fellas.

Ron's now my trailblazer.

Jack - I found some 60amp fuses in a junk car the other day. I put them on my tool bag just in case we crossed paths again and I needed more air.
