Load Area Seating - D90

Just seeking opinions on the forward facing fold-ups from Exmoor. Anybody installed these and have feedback?

I don't want a forward facing bench as A) I have a ROW and don't feel like fabricating mounts and/or buying a used forward bench, and B) I want the cargo space. I'll go with inward facing fold-ups if the forward facing ones suck.

I'll use only occasionally for bumming around the city with adults so I'm not worried about safety/kids or whatever worries some folks about these.....

They don't suck. I think no back seats are comfortable for long drives. They are maybe more comfortable than side facing seats but I have only spent maybe 30 seconds in a forward facing load area seat. They take about the same amount of room as 4 side facing individual seats. They're super expensive.

I have the exmoor inward facing series bench seats installed. My friends wont ride in the d90 again with them because they are worthless, so i bought a forward facing bench seat because I have the brackets. I still havent installed it because I like the look of the series seats, there are several holes that were drilled to get them installed, and I dont want to tote my friends around. I second that none of the seats are comfortable. The forward facing bench seat is comfortable for one.

edit...the series bench seats that I have are good for low speed driving around town or light trails, but that is about it.

Thanks for the input so far. If anybody has the exmoor forward facing units, I'd appreciate any feedback...

I've got em, my kids love em, but they sit too high for an av.size adult to sit in with the top on.
