lNAS light duty diesels

A pretty good article and chart on the Diesel motors that are finally coming to the US market. Who is gonna be first to stick one of these in a Defender?

The chart.

In the Ford column, the 3.0 v6 is seen in the RRS and Discovery. The 4.4 v8 is only seen in the Range Rover. That V8 was intended for the F150 before Ford US went Ecoboost.
A friend of mine runs a land rover / range rover specialty repair shop. Based on his experience, they are capable of stopping anywhere, anytime, at any cost.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.
