I am trying to sell a 70's Land Rover Series Air portable, RHD 2.25 Gas. It was bought at auction by a friend who wants to get rid of it now. Good points: Body pretty good shape, 5 new BFG mud terrain tires, new Webber carb, new Rovers north exhaust, Engine rebuilt by British military in the 90's (markings on the block), hard Top with doors, extra tail gate (not on truck), frame solid. Bad points: some rust in the bulkhead (firewall), floor pans missing, seats missing, gas tank missing, wireing all taken apart, no master cylnder, broken windshield (one side), Title is a salvage because it was sold at auction incomplete. Can be converted back once put back together. I had it running with a small lawn tractor gas tank and it was pretty smooth and quiet. Great for parts or restore $3500 OBO trades considered Call Stephen (908) 283-6915 Please leave a message if I don't answer. I don't check my E-mail often so calling is better. located in Bernville near Reading

Been on CL for months, front end of the lightweight never really appealed to me though. FYI salvage title won't matter once you register it in like any other state, there is no car fax on the these things so once its back to a clean title, there is no history of the salvage.

Don't know about other states, but if you register a car in California using a salvage title, they transfer that on to the new CA title they will give you.
