lift and stock tires

bored at work thinking. Picked up an OME suspensoion last weekend, but I am debating putting it on since I have stocker size tires and they are only two years old with plenty of tread. So just bite bullet and say fuck it and get new tires and try and sell my old ones...... I am wondering, go ahead and put the suspension on or just wait a while... I think this is what it would look like not to bad but not too good, stole from Landroversforsale.com.... 255/85's are the plan when tire time comes around but it might be a while..... this thing is a black hole. Any thoughts.

some more. I dont think the stock size MT's would look so bad with the OME HD/MD...

I`ve seen a couple trucks in person that have a lift on stock rubber. Looks a bit awkward, but not horribly so... That is, at least until you park it next to a D90 with a lift and 33`s. So I guess so long as you don`t park it next to a rig with 33`s or 35`s, it shouldnt bother you too much.

I personally would would wait it out til the stock tires are shot.... but in the mean time I would do everything I could to make sure that those stock tires get shot ASAP... just makes it easier to justify another $1000

Stock size MT's, OME 751/764, 30mm spacers. I had just bought the tires as well, plan on going to 33's next round.

Rob's MTs definately look better than my stock BFG A/T's (my green D90) did. One thing to help justify new meats is that if you go with a 255/85 M/T, it is a little bit skinnier tire than the stock tire. This would allow you to turn in your steering stops a bit and get a little bit more out of your turning radius.

I know it's not much, but maybe this will help justify it to your significant other, sell it as a safety feature or something.

I'm running OME and stock tires. Doesn't look bad to me.

put them on. its only a little lift. when you are driving they wont look weird at all...but yeah if you park next to a D with 33s or 35s it might look a little off, but not bad.

put the lift on and get your new tires in the spring time
