Arb makes a good bumper.. I had one on a toy before I entered the LR world. I have heard that they don't have as good of an approach angle as some of the alternatives on defenders and discos.

Terrafirma. Got the A/C model as it gives a bit more room around the winch.

I really like it and it was really affordable (from Lucky 8)

Isn't the steel on these TF bumpers very thin ? IE even thinner than the easily bent ARB's

I did run a tube stye bumper on 73 Bronco which doubled as air tank. It was rather handy and heavy enough to know if ever hit so hard to puncture, truck would have been totaled anyhow.
Just a thought.
Was this made by JCR offroad by any chance?

For a mostly stock to lightly modified Defender, I like the looks of an ARB front bumper. On a lifted Defender with much larger tires, I like the way the Rockware bumper looks a lot.

Nope, these were made in Billings by Josh Prindle. ( 406) 208-9129. I dont have any interest with his company.

Did a good job, strong but not to heavy. He makes them for full size trucks and jeeps sold under different name through popular off road supplier. As supplier doesn't offer for Rovers he was clear to fab up.

I'll get off the soapbox now

Locally made as well.

I argue that I have best approach angle of any bumper out there, and of course you have to cut in to the grill to achieve it. Pics are 2 years old, lots of changes since then...

And a final recent pic with the fender armoring.

What does that armoring tie into as it reaches the hood?

They are designed to mount to the stock NAS110 cage A pillar, and an inner fender support bar that ties to the front of the frame to keep the bars bending inward toward the hood.
