I think don knows or has met that guy. Also, based on that Camel sticker above the rear plaque, the PO was probably a member here.

A D90 is one of the few trucks I would buy with a flood title.

Edit: The sticker on this truck looks like Camel Trophy '96 Kalimantan - did Jay ever make a run of stickers for that year?

You really really don't want a truck that was flooded with sea water. Good for parts, that's it.

Actual Cash Value: $32,580

That's a bit steep.

I can bet the insurance company will ask $20k for this truck.

ACV is the estimated retail price of the item pre-damage

$32k is WAY to much, even if it has a clean title.

Prices are off the charts.

But they sell for that, retail. Keith at Copley has this truck up for sale right now as a close comparison: 1995 Beluga Black, 62,700 miles, A/C, and a FASTBACK. Price? $44,800

I think you are probably right. The interior shot of the rear seems to lend to that as well. There is, what looks to be, a waterline on the rear seat belt and the back window.

Looks like it. Check out the discoloration on the cage in the foreground. Looks like about the same level.

Autocheck still shows a clean title.

I thought it was my buddy Mike's truck but he doesn't live where it flooded. But that rig looks familiar - will look at the ad when I get home for a better look.

Assuming NJ issues salvage certificates regardless of vehicle age, (along the likes of those in CA), it may not reflect a clean title much longer. The IAAI link says status is awaiting certiificate...

I would be surprised if an insurance co would let a flood go on a clear title.

What if you just disconnected all the wiring, blow each side out with air and clean with brush/sand paper and apply di-electric grease liberally to all the contact points and then restart with new ECU's/sensors etc? (Providing the wiring contacts are still good)
