Bummer. I ran in short two days ago, and probably will today. Our winter sucks.

I drove up to Lake Tahoe yesterday. There is no snow to speak of and today we are getting rain. I guess there are always the casinos....

Hate to tell you this but that's how it is around here. One day you are in shorts the next day it's snowing like crazy the day after that it's sunny again

Gotta love Colorado

Thought i'd share a couple pics of the Blizzard in full force and arriving home to a 6' drift that had to be plowed before i could pull the D-90 in and out of the storm.

These are taken in the foothills west of Sedalia, CO. (SW of Denver)

Follow-up Post:

OK, here are the pics.

I think we ended up with about 3' or so (with much larger drifts).

What do you have for a tractor there Matt? Interesting looking. A Cub Cadet?

CO has been getting pounded this year! CNN is all over it. over on the East we have yet to see anything, unless you are in VT and NH, i think they got a bit of snow up there? but i might be wrong

i feel like i wasted a lot of money on a season pass for snowboarding, when i could have bought something useful for my rig.

Yeah, great early conditions in the high country so far- let's hope it keeps up.

After considerable research I ended up with a Ventrac tractor. It's a four wheel hydrostatic drive compact articulating tractor (CAT). You can get nearly 20 different attachments for the thing- snow blower, stump grinder, trencher, auger, fork lift, mower deck, loader, etc... Like most Rover enthusiasts we like unique things that are well made- that's a Ventrac.

You kidding, he loves snow. It's like heaven to him. He is also being trained to pull sleds and by this time next year he will be racing in a Malamute team.

Looks like '07 could be a good year for the fish and the folks on the front range.
