Last day of school

Dropping off the oldest for the last day of first grade. He loves climbing in and out of the Defender; as he says, "Like Bo and Luke." And no airbags means he gets to ride up front with me.

Picking up both of the boys from daycare yesterday afternoon. Superman is a fan of the Defender too.

Perfect!
That's why I gravitated from P-cars to Ds, kids (and adults) can climb all over them and never hurt them.
The NAS cage is the perfect jungle gym, right!?

BTW in a town where kids get dropped off to school in everything from new Rangies, Benzes and other cool cars, guess what vehicle garners the most attention and thumbs up?

The one overheating or on the back of a tow truck?

Probably true.
Actually, I think the LR3 is the official "Duxbury Cadillac" or "Duxbury Mom-mobile".
You couldn't swing a dead cat in this town and not hit at least three white LR3s and maybe a few Bonattis! Though all I hear are good things about them.
Sort of like my friends in Greenwich tell me that the ML500 is the official "Greenwich Cadillac".

That picture was after my wife got tired of waiting on me to replace the transmission for 3years. She called a tow truck and sent the white albatross off to the dealership. Now that the Defender has been up and running; I'm not taking up the full garage with parts of Defender strung about; and her Fiat fits in the garage next to the Defender, she's happy.

That's great. Happy Summer Break to you! My sons last day was yesterday. He went with a bouquet of flowers for his teacher and a cake that read 6th Grade Here We Come!! We slept in this morning and he woke with a smile saying 'I slept in! No alarm clock. What are we doing today?' Gosh, he's going to be in middle school already.
