Land Rover Unhappy-Wife must go.

My D90 is tired of hearing the complaints about it, and feels like it always comes second to her. He is forcing me to part ways with wife. She must go, cheap. My loss is your gain. Comes with many accessories. Never abused or left in the rain. One owner. Must see.

Sorry, I had to. There seems to be a lot of these threads going on, so I thought I'd poke a little fun.

This is great. I, too, get bummed out by those "wife forcing sale" postings.

The metaphor will get ugly fast, though, I'm afraid.

Yeah, I hope mine never tries to make me part ways with my "toys". After all, she noticed the 90 before she noticed me!

Id personally ditch the bitch that complained about my Defender.. I have always worn a Barbour coat, I was after this one chick, she said my coat "stunk wierd that she didnt like it" had to loose that one. My last gf said id rather be with my Defender and my dog than her....

I'd like a test drive but I hate to ruin her for you.

The defender would be the least of your worries.

My wife is smarter than to make me choose between my Land Rovers and her. I bought my first Land Rover while married to wife number 1...I think that qualifies as a precedent.

The real question - which one is cheaper to maintain. Guessing it's the 90, but should be close.

I thought about it and think I should add some more descriptions to help buyers.

Cats were removed but I can dig them up for you if you like. The after market rack was added recently at the body shop (not willing to sell separately). After marriage, there has been some rust developing between the frame rails, but it's nothing a little oil won't take care of. Tail pipe started making odd noises shortly after marriage and is accompanied by a foul smell every once in a while. Body is in good shape with minor dings around the rear. Seems to have a slight tranny leak once a month but usually clears up in about a week. I must warn you that she is a little tempermental while leaking is occurring. She used to smoke a little, but now only when octane booster is used. Other than that she is a great ride.

Many of you may have seen her while "in the bush" so if you can think of any descriptions to add please feel free.

Buyer beware. In Maine, the disposal fee on one of these things is half your net worth.

I could have sworn the tempermental problems usually happens JUST before the leaking. I can't remember if you are the first owner? I hope it was never a rental, I've been told people tend to ride them really rough. Is the ride noisey or does it tend to purr? Are there any sagging issues? Glad to hear about the rack, but how are the headlights?

How many miles? I know these things tend to have more issues when they have been beat on and poorly serviced, however a truck with issues makes a nice machine with some TLC.... Just as long as the body is good.
