This could be very telling of the next Defender, that they want to hold on to heritage in real way. I wonder if their rebuilds will come with a warranty.

Factory Restored Series 1 5 door 107" wagon....cant even imagine.... I'm surprised they didnt wait till monday to announce...at least give folks a few day to lament the loss and cry in their pints..

Am I right, that they are only building 25 of them?

Makes me wonder, though... will they then go on to 25 Series II... IIa.... III...... 90/110..........?

Further thought on my comment above...

They build 25 of each model -- I, II/IIa, III, 90/110 -- and that is the lead up to the release of the new Defender.

Which... if you think about it.... might be a good sign of things to come. I can see the press release photos already.
