Question Land Rover Owners Club in Washington DC

Hi,

I am moving to the US from the UK next month and will be working in Washington DC. I will be shipping out my much cherished Ninety 2.5 N/A Diesel and wondered if anyone knows whether there are any Land Rover owners clubs in the DC area?

Many thanks,

PaultheBrit

Welcome to the forums Paul

There isn't an official rover club in DC but we have a thriving group that meet monthly for happy hour and spend too much time on these forums. Subscribe to this thread to keep track of the happy hour schedule

There is a virginia rover group though - http://roav.org

ROAV is good. If you want to travel a couple hours north for events, my club (which has members mainly from Eastern PA, NJ, Delaware and Maryland) is fairly active too.

You have to join R.O.A.V. to attend their events (ie MAR).

If you join R.O.V.E.R.S. you get to find out about and go to the events.

We have "shop days," an email list, a forum, a newsletter, an annual picnic etc.

Paul, my advice is any part you need or may ever need, buy it before you come to the states and ship in the 90, as parts here are way more expensive.

In which case you will need to ship by container as you are not allowed to put parts in your vehicle.
