I think Pedro will still get stuck on those pesky 6" stumps while fully locked ( F&R ) even if he can see them

Hmmm, that presumes
1) he has a rover
1A) that it works
1B) that he takes it to an event that isn't the biannual appearance at HH
2) that at the event it isn't for sale
2A) that at the event, where it isn't for sale, he takes it out.

Assuming 1&2, I concur.

My experience has been that what's not right in front of the wheels is the most danger.

In any case, another technology to make people even more helpless when it fails.

Relax folks, its just a different application of an existing technology.

Its been done before.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.
