Land Rover Badge

Quick question.

The land rover badge on the back that you rivet on, some of them have a bottom part that says No. and then a silver area.

What goes in that silver area? Is it the last 6 of my VIN? and the example on someone's signature say 1 of 2,000,000. Normally, does it have a number out of how many were made that year?

Thanks again for all your help. I have a 1991.

David

Well, here in the States, the badges only indicated a limited edition run of NAS(North American Spec) cars.

The numbers dont correspond to the VIN.

Sounds good, mine is a ROW one so I should not have to worry about it. I just have the oval one anyway
