LOL If he can do he following ill be his biggest fan

I want the Feds out of my life, Get back to the ideals of John Adams the function of the federal government should be to provide and control only that that is necessary for the safety and security of our country.

Term Limits in the state and federal government offices, Line item Veto fire all the career bureaucrats need to go, there lies the real corruption and abuse in government.

Stop all the Domestic and Foreign parasites from bleeding and manipulating our economy all for there personnel gain. Enforce capitol punishment for people like Madox and other corporate thieves. Seize all personal assets and set up a fund for compensation instead of the lawyers getting it all.

We have a Bill of Rights set up a bill of Ethics and Responsibilities with severe punishment for infractions.

Implement a fair federal flat tax something like a .05 to 1.0 % and then let the states handle the rest. I don't believe the rich should have to pay 65% and Joe the Bag Boy pays 0% and then get freebie kick backs so he will vote for Obama

If you want to live in a nanny state on the free lunch program go to Kalifornia and let us in New Hampshire look after our own.... Sort of a federal free zone

Also If Money is needed for foreign aid let Bush SR a Bill pass the hat. I'm tired of paying for Aids in Africa or Schools in Afghanistan.... None of this foreign aid money has changed our standing in the world community everybody hate us so screw them...

I'm for pre WWI isolationism. All this paying for there friendship is BS. Let them eat cake....

None of this will ever happen and I believe Obama will fix my financial woes about as much as I will win the SUPER LOTO.

Its disturbing the mentality of liberal types like you that feel the government owes you prosperity or something. That is the reason our system is so bloated and dysfunctional

As for mypersonel woes Ive looked past the hype and head lines and every time it has been a democrat who is personally responsibly for things in the government that have screwed me over....

Wow that was a waste of time and bandwith.

I can't tell you how old the "I'm a conservative and the government is evil" diatribe has gotten. and yeah "Democrats are the root of all evil" and "Forbes is right" and you sound like a broken record.

Why not come up with some new ideas because these are bankrupt, literally bankrupt. You fellas got "flat earthed" and your economic models are not germain any more.

I'm with Obama, he won, lump it.

Too harsh?

Welcome to how we felt under Bush.

This all is a waste of bandwidth LOL... I never said i was a Republican and I think Bush is and was all that was said about him a POS

And I was pissed he won both times

No new ideas here? I don't get that one sparky I listed a few of my own thoughts. I know there way to conservative for liberals like you.

Whats your idea? to throw money at it and let big brother manage your life? Oh it is because you voted that ideology into office

Close your eyes and click your heals 3 times then recite the phrase the slogan "Hope and Change" do this daily and all will be well in your life

I pose this question to you. Be honest... If you were a hiring manger or employer and had to really look at Obamas resume would you hire him? If answered yes you must work for one of the thousands going under for poor business practices.... Yep its help a Brother out time

Another one for you, tell me what has Obama actually done besides create himself as a media ICON? On record he was a local community organizer.... What legislation has he personally created? What substantial changes has he actually done that are working

Don't quote CNN or People magazine please... And quote facts not opinions or campaign rhetoric

Blank

But hey he's good enough to run the country....

Your turn to waste bandwidth

Too Harsh?

Hey we were just getting along over on the other site, maybe we can try it here too.

What we know so far...

Your very right, I am very left.

Let us dispense with the button pushing, I did it, you did it back we are even.

First, Isolationism: As nice as it would be for us we to cease to participate in the world, it is not very practical and by our sudden stopping, we would create a vacuum that the chinese/arabs/russians would love to fill. You catch more flys with honey than vinegar and a little medicine for africa buys us some cheap influence in their politics and unfortunately we have been there since just after Livingston so we own it because we bought it a long time ago. Same goes for the middle east, south east asia and our hemisphere. You can't just overthrow governments and not get your hands dirty. We need to temper our interference with some type of up side or we will just be the worlds bully.

Fairtax: Sounds good until you understand that it shifts the tax burden to those like me that spend a large portion of their income on living expenses and would not benefit from the removal of capital gains taxes and other goodies that the moneyed class would find so liberating. And didn't we just live through the results of massive influxes of free capital to get where we are now?

Ethics of responsibility? Sounds like the first steps toward an American Taliban to me. Let's just keep the punative behavioral modifications to a minimum. You want the gubmint out of your hair but then you want them to implement what amounts to moral prerogatives that suit you. Let's just opt out of the moral police and responsibility police, isn't it illegal to fail to pay child support now?

As for term limits, we have them now, the ballot. I would rather see an increase in the terms of the house so that they are not perpetually running for office, then they might actually do some work instead of money grubbing all the time.

We might agree on this, pay for access government is serving no one. I for one am all in favor of drastic limitations in lobbying. I think that we need to balance the lopsided influence that corporations have on our government. They have had carte blanche with our system of governance and we are paying the price for it now.

[QUOTE=landrovered]Hey we were just getting along over on the other site, maybe we can try it here too.

What we know so far...

Your very right, I am very left. I think you understated the VERY I make Savage look liberal

Isolationism
In the real world your right I'm just PO that the President and State Department throw money at corrupt regimes for the sake of commerce. Let Exon and Mobile use there billions to buy foreign influence.. All the goodwill done durring the past 50 years seems to be forgotten because of the War.... Watch for US flagg burring in Schools setup in Iraq when we leave...

................

Goodwill for the sake of cheep oil and crapy Big Box products.

Africa is a pit no amount of money or influence will ever change there what something like 1/2 the population still lives in the stone age. Cut to the chase move them all to NY City and be done with it.... 12 billion spent on Aids could be used for Taxi Cabs and Conveiance store ownership grants

Root of all evil is our intrest in foregin Oil. Get us off foregin Oil now not in 10 years... For the short term Drill Baby Drill....

I would mandate NASA to take over the domestic enegery re-development program, who gives a shit if Mars had water on it 3 billion years ago. Put the best and brightest to work on this also it would puth the Green Quacks to rest no carbon credit scams there.... Gore would have to find a new cause... Oh the planet is going into another Ice age we need to warm it up...

Figure out how to power our cars and homes on water for free... Overnight the corupt influance needed for Oil would die.... Screw the global ecomony all the money spent on Oil and its coruption could be diverted to other endevors..... Id like see a lot of very poor Arabs..... Sheep heards is all they can manage without western help anyway....

If Obama would create a real enegery plan in favor of the people and enviroment he would gain my respect.... But now that gas is cheep there is no call to do anything about this until next time it hits $4.00 a gallon or re-election which ever comes first...

Never happen not in my lifetime
..................
Fairtax:
Hey I'm not rich and I dont feel its equitable for someone who busts rhere ass to make something and you want them to pay 65 to 80% in income tax. Thats why all the BS tax shelters have been created.... Flat Tax is the way. The IRS spends a huge % of the revenue collected paying for the collection and prosecution of the Tax code. Cut to the chase get rid of 95% of the IRS loopholes and go flat tax. I guarntee there will be $$$ for the federal coffers

Ethics of responsibility?
Nothing is enforced, federal judges are paid off. Watch this guy Madox hye swindled thousands of people out of Billions and he will get a slap and a pass, or have a heart attack and die..

Your right I was talking both sides of this issue, there has to be a middle ground on this. But dont look for it in DC this system is rigged for the thieves weve elected

As for term limits: No there not really enforced by the ballot box .... Look at Kennedy he owns his district and no one can go against him at all.... His real danger is his influence on all the committee he chairs.... That is where the power and corruption in the Senate resides.... IMO Term limits are needed to prevent the influence of these self serving power brokers....

We might agree on this, pay for access government is serving no one.
Hey see we can find common ground......

This keeps getting better and better

GORE HEARING ON WARMING MAY BE PUT ON ICE
Mon Jan 26 2009 17:59:26 ET

Al Gore is scheduled before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Wednesday morning to once again testify on the 'urgent need' to combat global warming.

But Mother Nature seems ready to freeze the proceedings.

A 'Winter Storm Watch' has been posted for the nation's capitol and there is a potential for significant snow... sleet... or ice accumulations.

"I can't imagine the Democrats would want to showcase Mr. Gore and his new findings on global warming as a winter storm rages outside," a Republican lawmaker emailed the DRUDGE REPORT. "And if the ice really piles up, it will not be safe to travel."

A spokesman for Sen. John Kerry, who chairs the committee, was not immediately available to comment on contingency plans.

Global warming advocates have suggested this year's wild winter spells are proof of climate change.

I believe that Global warming will go the way of "Save the Whales", the Ozone and other anti-capitalist propaganda movements. Nothing more than a structured way to redistribute wealth. If Al Gore really cared, he would move to India and/or China and have them clean up their significant amount of pollution.

PELOSI SAYS BIRTH CONTROL WILL HELP ECONOMY
Sun Jan 25 2009 22:13:43 ET

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi boldly defended a move to add birth control funding to the new economic "stimulus" package, claiming "contraception will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government."

Pelosi, the mother of 5 children and 6 grandchildren, who once said, "Nothing in my life will ever, ever compare to being a mom," seemed to imply babies are somehow a burden on the treasury.

The revelation came during an exchange Sunday morning on ABC's THIS WEEK.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Hundreds of millions of dollars to expand family planning services. How is that stimulus?

PELOSI: Well, the family planning services reduce cost. They reduce cost. The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for children's health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those - one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So no apologies for that?

PELOSI: No apologies. No. we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.

Developing...

What's funny is how someone like you, someone who obviously has everything figured out can be such a miserable SOB. I guess I should feel sorry for you, but I don't.
Better look under your bed man, the boogeyman's coming to get all the naughty winey-ass sore losers.
