In my totally unqualified opinion, simple is better. Think of all the big companies logos - most are very simple.

Not sure how clean that would look. But if Justin wants to see a alternate version, I could do it.

I like all the entries so far and Ron's art skill is definately improving!

I've got a couple other ideas but will hold off for now. Logo design while eating lunch has it's drawbacks!

Daniel - can't wait to see your designs!

Not touching the computer over the weekend...

A good friend of mine spent a fortune fighting LRNA in the end he lost and had to change his business name and logo... Its sucks your logo was cool... Good luck on the new one... Does Chrysler go after Jeep repair specialty shops like LRNA does?

I had the American Red Cross go after me because my company logo had a red cross in it - it's called Jeep Rescue (vintage Jeep restorations). As stupid as it was, all I had to do was change the color of the cross.

Keeping it Simple

Here's a concept that might work...feedback welcome (angle / tread etc...).

When we are doing brand, we always keep things simple...logos are something that will need to scale and work in and on any colour / item. (From a FAX to a Tattoo).

Two more

Here are two more designs.
One is a "Rover Dog" favorite
The other is a design based off a suggestion from woldd90 to do a tire design with the 8.

I agree. If I had those skills, I'd be switching the site logo all the time.

I think they look like they belong on a slot machine or digital poker machine sitting in a gas station or truck stop.

took a stab at it late last night. I think you need to keep it classy and recognizable. Own the word, don't make it too flashy. Nice typography!! It should stand on it own as a nice powerful mark.
