I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

I passed one once. They gave me Dilaudid. It's supposedly stronger than morphine. And it makes the pain go away.

I had one in November that they blasted and then put a stent in me. Removed the stent a week later. It was the worst pain I ever felt.......... I feel for ya!

It's happening to one person at my wife's office. They just did a stent to him to.

I think I was 28. Stent removal was fun, I loved the urologist's "ok, here comes the baby" as he pulled the stent and scope out at the same time. What a weird, weird feeling.

I had my first one at 15. I am now 40 and had the operation with the basket where they have to retrieve it. Its a very humbling experience. I have gone through all the test with the urologist, and no one can tell me what is causing it either.....
