Forget about trails. Picking guitars and drinking moonshine around the campfire with friends is what makes Rover rallies fun anyhow. LRNR got lame for me when most folks started sleeping in hotels. You can always do a day trip to something like GWNF if you wanted to.

You name it we can have it all while selling parts, engine conversion kits, and so on.
I AGREE ... this could be like the Eastnor Land Rover Show and Overland Expo all in one. Its the VENDORS I really need. I'd like to see the product demos all in one place.

Exactly why we would be happy to participate - we would drive in our demo trucks and bring a trailer full of parts that are expensive to ship because of size.

All of the lines we carry are represented on the 110 and we could pre-order in big stuff to save shipping
  • Maggiolina Tents
  • LaSalle Headliners and door cards - installation on-site
  • TerraFirma suspension, bumpers, etc...
  • Frontrunner racks and tanks

It's a long way to come from Seattle, but seeing and touching the products is far more effective than me sending pictures and making phone calls.

And most important is getting to meet some of the many people to whom I have been shipping items the last two years...

Bringing this thread back to life. What's the status? Making vacation plans for the spring and want to know if this is going to happen?

Need to purchase event insurance for the dates of the event. It's only like $200 and it'll save your ass if someone gets injured/DUI, etc. It's the exact same as you would have for a large wedding reception.

We (Early Bronco) guys do a big event in Tonswend Tennessee, which is a lot of fun. "If you build it, they will come!"

Too much on my plate @ present to pull something off this spring. If anything happens this year it would likely be October or first weekend in November. I think there needs to be a min of 4 months advance notice for this sort of thing for a successful event

it would be a lot of fun, ive always thought that area of the old dominion was pretty. Spring is a wonderful time of year anywhere in the southeast IMO.. Keep planning and they will come

Agreed. When the wild redbud and dogwood tree's are in bloom in late April its an area of incredible natural beauty.

You know it is a great idea, and in consideration of planning and all what harm would it be if it were next spring? Just a thought...

Aren't there three events in Va. during the last Qt.?

I'll bring the skittles.... All of them...
Need to make sure you can have campfires..or at least have some elevated 55 gallon drum bases cut to avoid scorching the ground... I'd be in for it...

It could be like the Burning Man only with a VirginTucky topspin. Like maybe the Burning Tires or sumpthin. We could stack up all our old BFG All Terrains and set them off to get a good thick black fug going.
