kayak carrier for SD rack

I'm looking for a good setup to haul two kayaks on the top of my SW with the SD rack. Any recommendations?

Yeah I dont think there is one, you're rolling the dice. Well at least I haven found a good one. I've been using Yakima Saddles, and while there good and hold up I'm always having to fiddle fart around with them!

the last time we went out I just ended up strapping them to the top rack.

Whitewater or touring? If it's whitewater, I would just pick up a couple crossbar pads and toss the up there, upside down. Strapped down, of course.

I have a 10' Perception that is pretty wide and am going to get something similar in size for my wife.

Get a tandem. It's a sure way to find out if you need a divorce or a second honeymoon.

I use the good old fashion Thule kayak rack when hauling one or two boats, but I have a trailer that I keep all four (including the Mill Creek tandem) all the time

Just pad the front and rear upper tubes with foam pipe insulation and learn a truckers hitch. Keep it simple. It will hold any type of kayak or canoe in place even if you decide to go wheeling instead of paddling.
