just when I thought I understood the RRC market...

I don't get it...I was selling a rust free all original, excellent interior, excellent mechanical and electrics, 25th anniversary edition RR Classic...took awhile to get bites on it and sold it for less than I should have.

what is so special about this one (Land Rover Range Rover LWB | eBay)

don't get it, a '93 with 118k miles selling at over $10k. makes no sense to me why some of these trucks break the $10k mark and others just sit on the market. It's not mileage, history, the write up, the rust...no rhyme or reason that I can make sense of.

Who knows...it does seem random. A truck that has a bunch of rust repair, decent miles, and not a 95, surprises me that it's at $10k

The bidding looks a little suspicious to me on this one.

eBay user o**d brought the bids from $3,000 to $10,000 in a single bid that's what happened. It's not going to sell. "Buyers" can walk away from their bids without consequence.

FWIW I think we are being slow to realize how quickly the values of these classics are going up. Right now I'm working on the exports of three. Two to the UK and one to Netherlands, so the european's are buying up solid US trucks and shipping them back. Check what a solid classic goes for on ebay UK....more than most defenders of similar age.
