Just Saying Hi

Hi world.

I guess it's time to step out of the shadows ! I have been skulking this site, pillaging the knowledge that is floating on tons of these post for ages and wanted to start off by saying thanks. A little bit about myself, I'm a wounded veteren with a car list that has ranged from all things fast loud or just flat out fun to drive. It has been a life long goal of mine to start my own bussines in the automotive industry. The first time I saw a D90 in action was during a combat tour and from that point on I know I wanted to own one. While living in england I purchased my first D90 and fell in love with the character it had from day one. It was loud, slow and bumpy but it was the coolest thing ever and left a smile on my face long after I parked it and walked away. After owning many more defenders its only fitting when my dream became a reality that I share these iconic vehicles with fellow enthusiasts. Thats who I am in a nutshell , I'm based out of Charleston SC and I always have time to hang out and drink a beer or lemonade and talk cars.

Welcome to the site and the addition... There are a few Defenders in your area, a 95 yellow soft top and a td5 110. Both great guys.

Yellow Softtop

I saw the yellow soft top , and a LHD gun metal D90 both looked great. Thanks for the warm welcome and looking forward to catching up with some of the guys close by.

Welcome...

Welcome to another veteran. My experience in the military were with HMMV but I found the light. Having owned a Series an a NAS90 I made the leap to a 110 3 door.

Anyway, enjoy your stay and welcome.

Hmmv

I was in the same boat for about 90% of my military career we rolled everywhere in the HMMVs before they started phasing them out.

Welcome to the forum. It's always good to hear from the new members and the ones who lurk in the shadows.

If there are any forum members looking to buy a defender that havent owned one or are looking to drive a certain type that I have in stock please dont hestitate to get in touch with me to come check one out and drive it or just shoot the shit, Dont worry I wont try and sell you one but rather make sure you feel comfortable getting a specific truck type down the road.
