Just got a 2005 Bonatti grey 4wd sled

My commute got a little longer so I had to find a new daily driver. I found a quattro sled that is fun to drive and is the antihisis of the defender. - 3.2 v6 with DSG transmission - computer controlled everything- It carries two people and a lunchbox. JimC is correct - now is a great time to buy a car or truck! This machine only has 38k miles - looks and drives like new. The dealer in Pasadena even paid for my air fair from San Jose.

Those are a lot of fun - and surprisingly roomy inside. Fancy car for a "Retro Grouch."

That's Dolphin Grey not Bonatti Grey. I have an A4 in the same color. Sweet ride though. I'd have a TT as well, but gotta squeeze kids in somewhere.

Yes - this is not a Retro Grouch machine. Although up until a couple months ago I was ready to buy a restored 67 Triumph TR4 A. I test drove a few, found a really good one in Las Vegas, then on a whim I stoped by an Audi dealer to see what the price range was on used TTs. I ended up test driving a few. I wasn't sold on them until my wife said she wouldn't ride in a vintage Triumph.... something to do with the wind messing up her hair!! I've been married for 30 + years ... marriage is all about compromise!

Yea, but Bonatti grey sounds so much cooler! and Yes, I fully understand. I have liked the TT since it came out, but it is not a practical family car. I had to wait until my kids grew up and moved out before I could justify driving a small car like this.
