Just FYI Exmoor Trim

For all those thinking about ordering from Exmoor in the UK.
According to Julian the main man we deal with over there, they will be switching from a retail shop to wholesale only (trade accounts only) on Oct 1st, so if you have a small order os something you may want to step up your ordering plans.

Doubt it. Their wholesale requirements are likely too much for what we use of theirs.

Yup, until Oct 1st unless he becomes a trade account. You'll have to ask him what his plans are.
I haven't heard back from Exmoor about what their trade account requirements will be. Some companies it is dead easy, some it requires minimum purchases and such.

I am a US Importer for Exmoor. As a matter of fact when someone sends them an email it gets sent on to me for follow up.

Have many exmoor items in stock at the moment.

Well that makes it easy as a D-90.com friendly vendor is already set up. Exmoor have some nice stuff.

Before Exmoor had the Melvill & Moon canvas seats covers, they use to have simplier canvas seats covers (not so many pockets), i think they were made by Trakkers. It was about the same color, very clean design. Do you by any chance have some or those left ?

What good would that do us, you'd have to wait 2 years to get on a list to buy it and then pay $$$ to have it installed. Say no please.

So here I am trying to be a good guy and feed you guys information so that you can get an order into Exmoor before you won't be able to, and hopefully save you guys a few bucks... and then I get a slam from some di*k.
Nice. I guess no good deed goes unpunished.

Mike, I would wait the two years for you to get my parts as long as I get detailed instructions on how to install

my GF wont touch a friggin purse thats less than 1g. if i were gay, i wouldnt pay that. but, is Vitton stupid for offering the purse to someone that will pay?

that, and use your head. if ecr geared up, trippled thier size and offered all the work at a mass market discount, how long would they be in business? the market isnt large enough to support it. after the first year, the backlog wouldbe gone. then what?

Ren Chin: If I was gearing up to be a US rep for Exmoor and was trying to get your $$$ (or anyones $$$) then why on earth would I tell people to get their orders in before they switch to a trade only deal.

No, we still have a back log, and I see no end to it as of today. You can try another "dig" though, that one doesn't hurt. It just makes me warm and fuzzy knowing the mortgage is paid.

When you need to toss a cheap shot out there at least do it in a valid way... like when I ask for money from an old evaluation!!!!!!

Why be an ass? are you jealous of Mike and ECR? He gives a heads up, and yeah he should get a direct line. He buys more in a month than you will your entire lifetime. That is business so shut up and deal.

apology

I agree, it does seem pointless. It's much easier to be nice. And I'll probably never buy any exmoor trim at all. Mike, I was wrong to take a shot at you. Why would I bother to stick my nose in your business? In fact, everyone should take a lesson away from this. Don't make the same mistake I did. Stay out of other people's affairs. In a tight knit community such as this one, it will only come back to bite you.

I for one appreciated this info, as I'm currently deciding between Sandstorm and Melvin & Moon seat cover full set, and have an active quote from Exmoor in hand. Thanks for the heads up Mike.

P.S. Thanks also for the needed parts you just sold me at "give away" pricing.
