They stole $900 dollars from me. I'm going to the bank tomorrow to have them deal with them.

Looking at a WHOIS of their domain name, it doesn't look like it expired and someone stole it..

Quote:
Record expires on 15-Mar-2011.
Record created on 14-Mar-1997.
Database last updated on 20-Mar-2008 13:19:08 EDT.
So either A) they're getting it redesigned, B) they stopped paying their designer/hoster, and they took over the name, C) they gave/sold the domain name to someone, or D) someone hacked into their domain management account and changed it

I guess the question is why would they even consider buying/acquiring that domain?

Has anyone tried calling Mary or Greg? Does the phone number work?

I talked to Mary about a week and a half ago because I'm still waiting on my washer bottle kit for my disco, and she said they were undergoing a "transition." Whatever that means...

Maybe one of the local guys can stop by their facility and clue us in on the situation?

It means you should cancel the order asap and wait until this "transition" is done with.

Well I bought (actually insurance bought most of it ) a bumper with the skid plate, d-rings, and so on from the and it took forever like "normal," and I've had that stuff for a couple months now. Just been waiting on the last little bit...

I'm going to give them a call later, I'll let you all know what I find out...

No inside info from me. They stopped taking our orders a long time ago and still owe us $.
Last I heard from Mary was that their welder quit and that Greg did not want to hire another, so he was going to pick away at work when he felt like it. I asked her what that meant as far as getting products for customer projects when we needed them and she said that she could never give any ETA on if or when Greg would build the stuff. Then she said they switched from selling stuff to just doing in house projects only.
Keep in ind this was well over a year ago. I gave up caring what they are doing about the time they screwed me on a 5 bumper order.

Customer sent me the dead SG.com link so I thought I'd pass it on.

I will be out in Utah for the National Rally and I think I may pay them a little visit and get my $900 dollars back.

I always wondered why ECR didn't deal with Rockware. Everyone seems to agree that the Rockware is a better product, and I always thought the Rockware looked better
