Just curious what you guys think of the new baby Range Rover?

I guess I like it regardless, I know the trend is to go smaller profile nowadays so its the fad for now but I don't think it will do so well here, due to high cost for little return. I guess it all depends on how much they're going to be asking but seeing how its a rangie you'll know its going to be up there. I'm more of a disco kinda guy, can't wait for the new new disco after this one. Anyway what do you guys think of the new baby RR?

Wrong

It looks like a Nissan Murano. Totally wrong profile for a Land Rover IMO. As Dave Chappelle pretending to be Rick James once said: "I wish I had more hands, so I could give it four thumbs down."

It's on the Land Rover website and you can sorta build it. I'm on the fence but want to see in person before saying yea or nay. I was in LR getting work done on my Sport and sales guy mentioned the Defender is being redesigned for 2014. Doubts it will come close to current model though. Also spoke about brand separation from RR and LR. New sport has most of the Land Rover emblems removed.

It just looks like they were both designed in wind tunnels. They all have the same profile nowadays for that reason. It's not going to change for awhile.

Not a huge fan. It has a very high belt line and I think it will feel cramped for anyone over 6'1. The rear window is basically a porthole. The front is good looking enough but god I think the rear is ugly. The rear reminds me of the back end from that disgusting Buick SUV that was around like 3 years ago, forget the name of it.

The engine offers some interest. I think it's gonna be a little rough out of the box but it going to allow enthusiasts to really mod the thing considering the Turbo. I can see the thread now "HELP. Changed down pipe, cat delete, open exhaust and chip and now I'm throwing fire balls"

Around the corner from my office they have a metal/wire frame display of one. They really are pushing this 2WD POS. I'll snap a pic and post it.

Is that the third street promenade? Sure looks like it. And if it is, bums and German tourists are part of the scenery.

They have the 2 door and 4 door version at the autoshow downtown. Someone should go take pics.
