Because the 911 doesn't look like it has a Cancerous Lump on its back.

Makes sense to me. Speaking of rears, Does the 991's rear spoiler and taillights remind anyone else of a v8 vantage?

Barry/Josh, if you guys are interested in a 993, buy this 993 turbo converted to GT2 spec:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...m=260954465180

The ebay listing is a consignment listing. I know the owner of the car who did the conversion before selling it in a fit of insanity (his wife made him sell it). The car is in AZ. The current owner bought it to flip it - which is pretty much what he is doing now. I considered buying this car last year before getting a 996 GT2, but since I have other track cars I ended up not buying it. This car is a peach. Has Moton shocks and the works.

Registering a real 993 GT2 is next to impossible in the US - this conversion is the next best thing.

Jack Olsens 73 RS with injected 3.6 ?

My 93 3.6 turbo's (965 body) window sticker (from Vasek Polak Hermosa Beach Ca.)was about the same as the one Neil just bought and that was 19yrs ago. If the naturals cost 120 what do the turbo's run now ?

Talking

I was going to get the Panamera, but then while in San Gabirel I saw a chinese lady and her kids in one and I said forget it. Plus everyone and their dead grandma has a panamera even though it came out in 2010. So 991 it was. I still have not seen 1 991 on the street yet. I know I made the right decision, remember folks, this is the new body style, it just came out 2 weeks ago. Thanks to the 991, the 997 is now obsolete, I don't care if its a 2012 turbo 997, one look at the droopy tail light eyes and people are thinking (look at that old porsche). The wranger I got later that afternoon on Sunday for 31k. I am not going to do any offroading in it, I just got it so I could drive my mom to the Dr's since its so hard for her to get into my 90. I drove the Jeep to Laury's in Beverly Hills last nite with the girlfriend, its a smooth V6. More power than my D90. Feels just like a PUMA inside, so I told myself its like getting a puma sorta kinda. Plus I already have a NAS110. oh well.

Also you can't get the 991 turbo, it dosen't come out til next year, and when it dose it'll be over $180k. In a few months the carrera, carrera 4S will be comming out, regular carrera will have 350 horsepower and be cheaper.

Like 125 with tip.

I figure you guys would like these pics better with my D90 in front of it. I took these pic right after I signed the paperwork. By the way, the color I got is very rare, most of the ones out there are black, white and silver. Very few are Agate grey, cuz you know, i just want to be different..

I seriously think the exact same thing every time I see some old fogie driving a 1994 D90 - don't they know there were 1995s and 1997s with a totally different light pattern up front and in the back? Whenever I ride shottie in a 1994, I always feel like people are always staring at us and I think it's because they're secretly judging us - "look, he couldn't afford the '95 or '97 model" and I feel shame. But then I drive in my 1995 and people can't tell if I have a '95 or '97 and I feel all better knowing I won't be judged.

Wait, you have a '94 D90, right? Is it embarrassing being seen with square lights?

Has anyone seen the lime green metallic in the flesh yet? Is it anything like lotus autumn gold? If so, I might have to buy one.
