Jurassic World

It looks like Mercedes vehicles have a key role in the upcoming Jurassic Park sequel. How could Land Rover allow Mercedes to appear in this movie? There should be Defenders all over this movie! Thoughts?

Land Rover probably wants to bury the Defender because it holds back the brand image of luxury.

I thought m-classes were pretty cool after JP2, but then again I didn't know any better. I think it was mostly the gadgets and armor that were cool.

I suffered thru San Andreas this past weekend. As a helo pilot I wanted to scream "Bullshit" during every helo scene. It was like watching Blue Thunder all over again. Each scene was beyond stupid and 1000% ridiculous. I'll probably skip Jurassic World based on the lame previews.

I try! That's why I like "Tommy Boy" so much. What a great road trip!

MB is trying to ruggedize their luxury image. LR wants to simply refine their luxury image. Kind of a question of values to me. MB is desperate to show that luxury can be tough, while LR should have focused on tough being luxurious!

Airwolf? Been there, done that, got the hat... Wait. Are you implying that Airwolf wasn't real either? But the missiles glowed red, AND I have the hat! (Embarrassingly enough, I actually do. Well, somewhere. Hey, I was 12!) yeah, I know this is a web photo of the hat, but only because I think I misplaced it 27 years ago! ;-)

My daughter will be at her dad's house when it hits theaters....so he is tasked with taking her to see it and I am spared. I am sure it will be shitty, but she's just in it for the dinos. I am surprised at the lack of rovers, I do love my little ML though.
