The split is way forward of the tank. Right at the flange after Y-pipes. (if my nomenclature is correct)

Thats assuming it was a kid. Local males in their 20's used to teach me how to make improvised explosive devices when I went to school at Calstate Dominguez Hills. Hopefully you figure out a way to get it repaired inexpensively.

That's a bummer to see that! It's always some dickhead that has never owned ANYTHING worth caring about that pulls that shit.

I hope you find him/them and arrange for him/them to be ass-raped by a gaggle of silverback lowland gorillas whilst being forced to watch some gay vampire-related chick flick on a continuous loop.

Also, as it relates to paking a NAS Defender 110 in any urban garage, only a day ago I learned that absolute clearance to the top of the cage is ever-so-slightly higher when on a ramp! Low clearance sign read "Max 6'-0"" but as I fit under the sign without hitting it, I soldiered on. I think the top of the cage is 6' - 6" and there was about an inch of clearance. Well, getting in and finding a space was no problem, but there was a bean and some ductwork running at a low point right at the acent ramp.
The management company of a downtown Boston parking garage is going to be cleaning up a mangled HVAC duct and several golfball-sized chunks on concrete courtesy of my 110's cage over the 4th of July. I looked around to make sure the were no obvious security cameras and watched as there was a wake of concrete chunks and duct insulation behind me.

In short, there's no sense in trying to find a garage space for a 110 (especially in downtown urban areas) they just won't fit.
