Joined the series club!

Almost went a year with out a Land Rover! Found this series 3 sitting in a field over a year ago, but couldn't work a deal until last month. Story is that it was imported by a guy who wanted to use it for his Orvis catalog worthy fly fishing trips, but that didn't happen. Has sat ever since. Still has import sticker in the windshield. Seems to be in good shape. Chassis is solid. 2.25 diesel turns freely. Fuel smells like paint thinner so I will have to drain the system. Some rust on drivers and rear door. Rear bench seats are still new in plastic. Over all pretty good. Paint is pealing which shows a base of olive green covered with Arles blue, covered again by a bright blue, and then covered with current olive green. Not sure if it's an original MOD or not. I'm thinking about turning it into a soft top or maybe flipping to help fund a D90 from scratch build. What do you think? Pretty cool find right?
