Some uplifting and hopefully promising news from the Tis camp this morning for those who may not check the CarePages site:

We heard encouraging news yesterday. The tumor has not grown and "appears" to be smaller. The tumor is an irregular shape and, therefore, difficult to read changes on the MRI early during treatment. With the measurements taken it "appears" to be smaller by millimeters. However it appears that the area that may be smaller is where the tumor crosses into the other hemisphere. If this is true this could be great news because this is an area that is not operable.
We truly appreciate the love, support and prayers of friends and family. Johnathan and I are choosing to trust God through this event in our life. We can trust Him because He is GOOD!!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

Thanks Chris, good news I hope...the next MRI(3 months away) should be a big indicator of which way my treatment course will go. The continued support from this community has been very uplifting and overwhelming, thanks everyone.

I heard from Tis he was out in CO playing recently. Mountain bikes? Glad this is not keeping him at the armchair.

Yep, Fruita, Co for the weekend and the mountain biking was incredible. It's funny, everyone who sees me since hearing this news says "wow, you look good" I think people are expecting me to be pasty white and emaciated wearing a gown or something. The good news is for now at least, I appear and function the same as before I was aware of this giant mass in my head (if you want to get techinical my MRI does show the hole they drilled in my head, that wasn't there before).

Pendy I expect to see you in Las Cruces in Feb for the Chili Challenge...anyone else is welcome too; we always need more rovers at that event and it is a blast.

Okay I'll wash my hospital gown and tan in the dark closet until then.

Don is looking at some land for me North of Fruita 4-5 miles. Down the street from 21 rd.

When I go to the Care site and look at the picture or read what you are going though, it makes my hair hurt.
I'm keeping the positive thoughts and prayers cooking towards you Tis!

good to know... 'cause you know I was thinking...

actually I've spent the majority of my carreer in researching brain cancers (metastatic and primary) and my daughter had brain surgery 2 years ago... so while I've not been there I've seen a lot of it from the sidelines...

from what I can tell though you're looking good so keep up the prayers, karma or whatever it is...

Tis is back in the hospital. Head over to his CarePage and give him some D-90 Source loving.

I am sorry to announce that Tis passed away a few minutes ago. JT was a great person who contributed positively to every person he ever crossed paths with.

Please send positive vibes, prayers, or whatever else you would send to Tis' wife and children. Our family is very grateful for what everyone has done.

Thanks for your consideration.

I am totally speechless. Tis will be missed beyond belief. I am happy and proud to say I knew him.

He truly was a remarkable person.

My thoughts are with his family.

Thanks for the update.
