Chris-

Things are going OK given the circumstances. I'm still seeking some additional opinions but at the moment the top minds in the "tumor" world think surgery is my best bet. I've been doing some regular things like working and cycling but it is weird feeling normal and knowing there is a tumor in my head. In a sense it is not reality yet. I did have one of my friends tell me today that you have to have a brain to have a brain tumor...that was pretty funny.

I'll give the carepage an update soon, I've just been contempating my last consultation and haven't gotten my thoughts together yet. I do appreciate the concern and support, it really helps.

ok, I had not seen an update in my mail for a few days and was just wondering. Thanks for giving a shout here. I continue to hold positive thoughts for you.

Tis -

I have not been online much and just saw this thread. My wife was diagnosed 9 years ago with a malignant BT. She has endured two surgeries and multiple rounds of chemo / radiation therapy and is currently back to good health and she participates in triathlons and marathons. We started going to Duke Medical Center in North Carolina years ago when we were unhappy with the treatment options and negative doctors we had in Texas. Duke is top ranked in BT research, the doctors are great, and my wife was able to participate in clinical trials available nowhere else. We still travel to Duke for regular appointments. I'd strongly recommend a visit to Duke as you gather information. Please PM me if you would like more info or to speak with me or my wife.

Brian

I may like to talk to you, I've met with Allen Friedman about doing my surgery.

I'm glad to hear that your wife is doing quite well.

Johnathan,

It is always touching even for a stranger to hear of such situations, but it is always nice to see good spirits to overcome such obstacles. Your willingness to fight such a disease will surely pay off.

Our thoughts and prayers go to you and your family, stay positive and come out on top !

The Collet family

Things are going pretty well, I'm going to make a treatment decision this week and then move forward quickly. I'll try to update more but thanks a bunch for the concern. Man I was bummed to miss the rally this year...oh yeah not driving really sucks too, I feel like I'm 15!

Your strong faith is a fine example to all. I shudder to think about this

occuring while you jet ski with the little guy, GOD had mercy and did

not allow that. Continue to be strong knowing all is under control. Many

pray on your behalf.

Johnathan,

I pray for your speedy recovery. God has a way of working through each of us to bring us and others from the clouds. Though I don't know you, I will think and pray for you every time I look at the roll cage on my Series.

Javier

Jonathan,

I delivered some tires to you a few years ago from Kelly Graham in Nashville(and picked up some wheels). Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Get back to wheeling soon!
