Get them out to Keith. Maybe he can "screw up" the postage and have them arrive at his doorstep.

John,

As said before - we know you are out here. How could you not be with such a Defender addiction? Re-read this post - most are good compliments, or good fun. We love your music. We love your addictions to our favorite truck!

Why not start posting? You will see that can be civil. If you start, you can always drop out if you decide to. We would LOVE to have you aboard. Give us a chance. We just a fun group with the same interest in trucks as you..........

I don't think his PM box is big enough to handle all the mail he'd receive.

Yea until every 19y/o girl stalker flocks to this site where he is obviously active, posting pics of themselves with Defenders in failed attempt to garner the attention of their fantasy celebrity guy.

Follow-up Post:

Actually upon further thought... post up homeboy!

I'll volunteer to screen the posts/photos and only send him an email when one is worth it/meet some defined criteria.

I don't know if the term Land Rover P0rn would be appropriate in the previous sentence.....

Not to self: TODO create JohnMayer account on D-90 Source

Hummmmm.........

John could ignore all PMs if he wanted........

Do you really think 19 year old girl stalkers would actually find him on this D90 site?? Especially if he was not posting under his really name so it would not come under any search. Like he could use the name "KICK ASS GUITAR" or something......

Perhaps you are right? I guess I do not know what it is like to have a flock of 19 year old girls stalking me. I still think there is a chance it would be fine. And he could have no personal information tied to his name, and just disappear if it is all too much.

I think there is a good chance he is active on the site already. I just wish he would somehow let us know what name he goes by.

I don't think I'd like that..... I'm already too jealous of what he drives.
John, if you read this, remain anonymous and just send me a PM when you want to sell any of your trucks for cheap (as "cheap in my world" not as "cheap when buying a ECR rebuilt truck"). As of right now, I could use a 110 to take the babies off road, their diapers, their toys and still have space for the spares and tools!

I'm sure if he comes by the site at all, John enjoys some anonymity and refuge from being a celeb. As amusing as it would be to get a nod from John Mayer, Ralph Lauren, Diane Keaton, or the other celebs that are known to be into defenders, I would really rather that anyone can come here and figure out whey there is hydraulic fluid leaking all over their feet without any additional hassle.

After all, evilfij might have been runner up for People's sexiest man alive, but he comes here to just be one of the guys and talk about Rovers.

Frankly, I would prefer not to know... And, I would doubt that John has ever been to the site.

Although, I would like to know Neil's real name... :-)

Do you have some left? I'd chip in to have a few sent his way with the promise that he puts them on his trucks (no need to send pictures, somebody will spot them on Perez, TMZ and whatever other sites were posted here).
I'd also chip in to get two new ones for me!

Actually, I need a batch of stickers too. Its hard to leave good plugs for the site on people's trucks when I'm just scrawling on a piece of paper.

Just saw this post. Hilarious. Anyway, if you guys like his music you can always convert the youtube videos posted in this thread to MP3 format. It's pretty cool: just copy the links posted from youtube that you like of him and paste the link into http://www.listentoyoutube.com

The site extracts the music from youtube and converts it to MP3 format so that you can put it on your iPhone or whatever.

The quality is pretty good too. Or, you can just use the iTunes store...

Update/Edit:

Actually, it looks like there was a recent update to the TOS on YouTube, and the listentoyoutube conversion is no longer available. Oops.

Funny story I had to pass along. I work in a building adjacent to the American Airlines Center in Dallas. John Mayer had a concert here Tuesday night.

The parking garage attendant stopped me this morning on my way in and said, "Hey, John Mayer loved your truck". So I am bit taken back by this. He goes on to tell this story. John was walking through the garage that connects to the arena. He noticed my truck and stopped and walked around it a few times admiring it. He mentioned it was a great looking truck (totally agree with him on this point as well as his taste in women, but I digress) and then he went on in to the the arena. So, this is confirmation that he has the sickness we all have.
Cheers.

a) Horsey
b) Barry
c) Shawn Palmer (..and this thread was his "outing")
d) [Fill in the blank]

Given his past, I'm also concerned that he may have run off with Sandy sn1987, as we have not heard from her in a long time.

A detail I omitted was I drive a cherry 97 black ST with a badger top, therefore......
Horsey is John Mayer.
