Jeeps in ATL.

Look what happens when it snows in Atlanta. Jeeps end up on retaining walls. :-)

Reports sounded pretty frightening. A few reports of people abandoning their cars to walk, but haven't been heard from since.

Total insane gridlock. It took me 6.5 hrs to get home from work. Our office manager was stuck on the road for over 24 hours!

The road systems in Atlanta were designed by idiots. There is no grid system, no straight roads and no logical naming convention.

The south won't rise again, because they could not get out of town... :-)

Things are better up here today but everyone is still mulling around until the roads thaw some. It was -1 when I got to the office so it'll probably be until after lunch before things warm up. Most of the main roads are clear and it's 50/50 on smaller roads, largely dependent on if they were in the sun or shade for most of yesterday. Tuesday afternoon/evening was a mess. Cars 3 and 4 wide spinning their tires trying to get up my street
