Jaguar F-Pace SUV - Standard w/ Diesel

Have people been reading the reviews on the Jaguar F-Pace SUV that's been announced recently? I've been reading American market articles, and they've said that it'll come standard with the 4 cylinder diesel w/ 180 hp and 318 pound-feet from 1,750 rpm to 2,500 rpm, while the supercharged 3.0-liter V6, which generates 340 or 380 horsepower will be optional.

Sounds pretty cool if that'll be true for the US market.

Have driven all three varients, they are all really nice. The td4 is plenty for it and the 380HP S is feels like a really nice sport sedan

Any ideas on the origin of the 2.0 td4? Ford TDCI based?

Will the TD4 actually be the standard for US market? If so that's pretty significant.

Josh, per Jaguar USA the 2.0 TD4 is the base engine. That said, with the VW fiasco, supposedly the big companies are more hesitant than ever to go all in with diesels in the US...or so that is what the auto journalists say.
