A friend of mine runs a land rover / range rover specialty repair shop. Based on his experience, they are capable of stopping anywhere, anytime, at any cost.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

As horrible as it may be with those wheels... still better than some of the defenders posted in the Hall of Shame of "Land Rovers that Suck"thread.

Some people have such poor taste. Sadly someone will buy it!

Luckily those wheels can be removed and the Heep can be returned to its former glory in about 20 minuets.
