It has begun....zombies

It looks like it's time for us to finally put our Defenders to use. After hearing about the guy over the weekend eating another man's face and the dude yesterday who was throwing his own intestines at the cops, you gotta wonder....a friend from work sent me this funny article

http://gawker.com/5914059/grab-your-...lly-be-upon-us

People with ST's are screwed.

Dylan- the first step is to get out of Long Island...of course going "underground" would have an upside!

god, you're telling me. long island is a tactical nightmare. i just have my bugout bag, my platecarrier with 14 AR mags, my LWRC and a few thousand rounds, i have a decent chance on the island.

if I learned anything from the movies, to survive the end of the world, the key is to find Tom Jones and get to Lake Tahoe

This is a last resort. I don't want to have hand to hand combat with zombies.

Gotta love the Gator! I think I saw that kit on The Walking Dead. I dont think youre screwed with an ST as lond as you have a GOOD Webbing set up. We are all screwed anyway if something like that happens... More folks would kill themselves when they realize the hot water isn't coming back on and the local store is empty.

I think an island is ideal. Organize non-infected survivors into a resistance, then blow the bridges, clear the island of remaining zombies, and you are G2G. Zombies can't swim.

If they can, you're F'd.

Mark- I see one flaw...it would have to be an island where we could all drive the LR's...Would the UK qualify? I would settle for Ireland or Malta.

Bring them on In the last couple of months I have a Armalite AR10, M&P Vtac with a Viridan Laser/tactical light. Awesome laser you have to check them out. Since I reload I have reloaded 6,000 .40 cal rounds, 4,000 of .223, 2,500 of .308 and have to hundreds of 00 buck and slugs for the Benelli M4 M1014 let'em come. LOL As for the Island thing that a good idea, We have a house on an island on the gulf of Florida just have to make sure someone does not blow of a EMP till I get get a 300TDI in my Defender. 16 hour though. Who wants to go and be on patrol for Zombies?. Of course to get the the island it is a 5 mile boat access only island. So guess we would be safe from the Zombies. We would just have to keep a eye out for those Obama loving anti-gun idiots.

I prefer to call it "work." I've been armoring the 110. Just finished a pair of zombie bashers on the front of my truck (wouldn't want to source new fenders in a post-apocolyptic world), and will be picking up more ammo today.

On the bright side, I live in the relative sanctity of a military installation, so plenty of ammo to go around.
