whatever has more ammo in the mag.

Being a tank officer, I know well enough that you need to have a stand off long range weapon and something for the close fight to cover all ranges.

In the gulf war, the question about why tankers carried pistols was resolved when fights in urban terrain ended up with tank commanders and loaders having to pull their pistol out while on the tank to fight off insurgents/enemy soldiers that were right by the flanks of the tank engaging, and no other armaments on the tanks could manage that close of proximity. When you have a zombie 5 feet from you, a 50 cal is not the right weapon.

So funny you mention the combine. I always thought the perfect weapon would be a huge flail mounted to some kind of machine would be perfect. Almost like a big interstate lawn mower without the guard. If your vehicle is covered in that. No worries.

I dig the swords though. A bow is always cool. But a blade never runs out of ammo. Once again the blitz attack is tough. But as Overlander says, a weapon for every occasion. I imagine a well handled blade would we most awesome. I've always wanted to take some rapier or fencing lessons, really knowing a blade would be pretty cool.

Tracked version would be fun, but less mobility than the wheeled:

Blades are interesting but I always go back to rules 1 & 2 (http://www.zombielandrules.com/) cause that stuff will make you tired!

Blades are cool...all of my kids have them. I have them practice on brush...I forgot for a moment that I have a Ghost 400 Crossbow, that thing is fun, of course after I pull off 5 or 6 bolts, I think to myself screw this it's not a good choice for Zombies....good back up though. I dont know how they did it in the days of olde!

If we split it 3 ways that's less than $6M each.

Ray ,I am no longer in the suck so chow is usually with my daughter, that being said my side arm (g21, Public Defender or S&W 380) is mainly to buy me time to get to my long gun (Daniel Defense AR, trusty old AK or Rem 870).

Also, I am so with you, if you don't shoot the naked flesh eating man dead , well then you got problems. Gotta put that dog down!

Anybody have a lead on one of those missile silo condo's? Sounding pretty sweet about now. I'm thinking a circular chain link fence perimeter like they had around the shack in the last Resident Evil, supplemented by an inner moat made of quick sand would be excellent.

That was the funniest video I have seen in years! I love the kid who throws the basketball at him then runs off. Good stuff!
