Is this email / buy legit?

Hi Guys---

Please see the email below I received via PM here on D-Source. He also did actually hit the buy it now button on eBay and then emailed me here. I get the 'Saudi Prince' emails via craigslist that I of course ignore. This guy, ElCid12, is on the board since 2011 has posted twice and has no feedback on eBay. Anyways, just didn't know if anyone knows this guy if he is legit or I should contact eBay and relist.
Thanks,
Devin

Hey 110fender,

I just attempted to buy the 110 you have on eBay, but my internet is down on my oil rig I am working on (I am using my phone right now). Please hold the vehicle until tomorrow. We will have the issue resolved by then and I will place my deposit and move along to purchase the 110. Thanks for offering a great vehicle at a great price! Please call me if you need anything!

Thanks,

Burton Fowles

Seems strange but I don't see the harm in waiting 1 day. If it were me I'd sit tight for 24 hrs and ping him at that #

maybe I'm a skeptic but " thanks for offering a great truck @ a great price" when he hasn't seen it other than in ebay photo's throws up warning flags

Doug- I agree.....but, I just received $500 in my paypal account.....and I JUST got a text from him saying he would call this afternoon.....I am calling Wells Fargo where my business account is to ensure if I provide the routing and account number to send the wire there is no funny business that can occur....

I had a check clear then removed from my account after the fact... Money was there one day and gone the next.

Sounds like he timed it perfectly from a check canceling standpoint. I don't take checks and I only take the smallest paypal deposit ($500). I only take cold cash or a wire transfer where the money, once in the account, isn't going anywhere. I guess he could always reverse the paypal payment after I give him the wire info but I don't think it will get him very far. I will keep everyone posted.

If it were me and I were a legit buyer and member of this board I would not be happy that you posted my phone number here.

Might be a nice of you to have the mods delete his phone number

Actually I just edited my post. No harm intended.
