Is there a place for newbees

Hi, looking for a place to say "Hi" and join in
have a 1974 Series iii with a 200tdi and have read here and sourced information on issues
just haven't posted often enough to have sellers take me seroius enough for a 90,(maybe viewed as an outsider hunting though,)
there is a lot of info here not needing for a lot of posting just the answers I'm looking for at times when needed
How or what is the best approach for looking for a D-90 without posting alot?

I think it best to introduce myself so as at some point when a Defender is found that questions needed to be asked will be answered as a membere
Thank you for any suggestions

Keith live in north central illinois,Grand Detour,
found many folks who don't know what it is or ask "what year of j**p is that? looks cool" & i'm ok with that

kinda looking for a 90 gas to drive during winter, the diesel heater isn't much to talk of along with I have enjoyed working on this so I started looking for a project 90 before it gets to cold to enjoy working on

Welcome! I moved this to Misc. Chit Chat since that's what it is. If you have technical questions about defenders, post in Defender Tech and for the series in the Series Tech. We don't have a specific area for newbies so just try use the right sub forum and you'll get the answers you need.

Nice series BTW!

I'll jump in...

I've been looking half heartedly for years. Getting more serious the last year or so. Spoke with Bill Larson about a very sweet 94 that my wife wouldn't let me pull the trigger on a few months ago. I am starting to think that a 25 year old 110 or maybe a 109 is going to be a better bet. Three kids at home 4, 2, and 4 months... Need lots of room for car seats. Anyhow, thats my story. Just wanted to say hello as well.

John
