And scary too

When I drove Shrek around, people will leave enough DNA and fingerprints all over, while I've never locked it, I have a nice " Gun Owner of America " license plate frame, a PoPo decal and one from my son's Martial Arts Academy...

They might think they are about to f#@K with the wrong guy *LOL*

It's definitely not just you. I consider it a safety hazard. Every time I drive by a store window I can't help but look at the reflection of it. I'm not a "garage queen" kind of owner, I just think it's the most beautiful car ever made and I can't stop looking at it.

It was pretty overwhelming at first with all the attention but now I don't notice it much. Both men and women of all ages seems to respond. Suits or not, doesn't matter. People do thumbs up out the window on the freeway and i have also had people run up to me at a stop light. It also seems like the more authentically modified or rare it is the more attention it gets. Bill Burke had a flock of people around his when it was parked outside a bookstore in Portland last time he was here.

Mark, if I had your 110 I'd stare at it every day too.

Seriously - this is simply confirmation that you own the right vehicle. Imagine if it were a Dodge Caravan.

No counseling will cure it. In fact, it is a genetic thing.

Wow Jonathan, we are priviledged to have you in this forum! I didn't know you were in here. Welcome!

Indeed, I know for sure this is the right vehicle. I told my wife that this is the last vehicle I will ever own. If it was destroyed for some reason, I would get another one and set it up the same way.

My big decision that I'm deliberating on is A) do I request to be buried in it or, B) allow it to go to another owner after I'm gone... I know what everyone elses vote is, but this is a very personal decision.

On a biased note, the burial site will be expensive for option A (but the jury is still hung).

UPDATE: Jonathan, as a follow up, I've noticed you've been on since 07; I just never made the connection!

Mark, if you give me your 110 when you pass on, I promise to put your ashes either in the gas tank, or in a Rhinoline mixture that will stay with the car for eternity. I leave the choice with you though.

If I take your offer, I'll take the rhinolining. If you put me in the gas tank, I won't make it past the first racor filter, and at the first service, you'll discard me and I'll end up trapped in a 6" metal coffin in a NJ dump. Not how I envisioned my eternity.

This makes me laugh. I had to move my 90 on the weekend but I was watching my 17 month too and figured I might as well take her with me. No need to put a car seat in. She can sit on lap. She sat on my lap with her hands planted on the wheel. We drove down my street swerving from side to side. Would have been amazing to get pulled over doing it.

You are both midgets to me. Then again I am midget compared to Doug.

Horsey don't you have a step stool for getting in your truck? I swear you mentioned that you needed to run and pole vault into your truck. Find that thread research assistant!!!!!

I agree, that does look like me at that age, learning how to drive. Not to brag, but I have a pretty high IQ, unlike this kid from the Special Olympics who's learning how to use a power drill for the first time.

Back in my day we would have drown this one.
