ECR/Copley

Having seen first hand 2 ECR beach runners & a Td5 '93 110 up on lifts and driving them, all I can say is what a nice job Mike & the crew does. His attention to detail is superb. All 3 trucks are owned by the same chap. Tally that one up?? Big $$$. You definately get what you pay for. No doubt. Only if I were a !%er.... Fun to dream though. He definately gives Solihull a run for the money....

I love this 110 and would love to own a 110 restored by ECR. I have to say this though, I own a brand new 110.( I know I'm lucky). I paid 54K and have spent a little more adding some parts, etc. I love my truck. With that being said. There's no way I'd pay that kind of money for a 110. I can't imagine its that much better than the brand new version and we all know what Defenders drive like. I have no issues with others paying big bucks for something they want! More power to them. I tell people here in OZ what these trucks go for in the US and they fall over.

My thoughts exactly... not knocking down an ECR creation, I'm sure it's worth more than that if you tally everything up.

I just can't phatom paying over $200K to have a "mechanically superior" car from the millions of other defenders that are worth far less than that.

I guess I'm glad I don't have that dillema!
