iPad mini mount?

At the risk of outing myself as a potential skinny-jean-wearing hipster, I'll ask anyway....

Has anyone found something that works really well for mounting an iPad mini on the Defender dash?

I know there are no less than30,000 options, but wondering if anyone has found one that fits particularly well.

I'm thinking something that has aermanantly mounted base, but the part that holds the iPad itself is easily removed so the iPad can be detached without any issue and stored in the locked center console. Or, is there an ultra secure unit that is bombproof?
I use it as a GPS and also to stream Spotify as it integrates into my Pioneer head unit.

I don't have a product, but rather a concept. What about making a secured base to replace the ashtray. There is a relatively cheap drop in coin tray replacement for the defender ashtray on eBay, and you could butcher it up while securing your iPad mini base to it. Easy access to the radio wiring if your using the dash radio pod and no permanent damage or irreversible work done to the crashpad to accomplish your goal.

I use the ram mount for my ipad. I Have it mounted on my tuffy console in the center but could easily mount it anywhere you would like. It is just a ball and socket mount, so easily removed. They also have a suction mount system that would work as well.

My pleasure. Sorry for not giving you a current for sale link. That one had expired, but it's a regular product and has been relisted. I'm sure you've found it already. Good luck.

I use this set up for my phone. I think the ones for the iPad are a bit stronger. I love it. Holds tight but it has a minimal presence when not in use. You can attach the magnet to the iPad or to a cheap case you can take on or off. They have these at REI if you want to actually look at them

Nothing worse than a clueless hipster... All hipsters ride fixies., it's quite the rage don't ya know.....it's a stripped down bike with no brakes but the rear wheel is a solid gear, so to slow down you simply resist the pedals turning...fixie..fixed rear wheel..
