Interesting Speaker boxes..

Came across these in photos of a $176,000 '97 90 for sale. Guess they are Himalaya Customs pieces, not sure if they are available without having your whole truck rebuilt by the Himalaya gang or not..

I have fitted/installed lock and folds and I have always wondered who can sit in them ?

The design requires that one person get out of his seat and fold it up so that egress out of the car can happen, how many kids could do that ? Especially in the space that's there ?

In our case with my two boys, who are now eight and five but started in those seats when they were five and two, one boy gets out of his seat and stands in front of the other seat or sits on the side wheel well.... Then I put the seat down and flip it up and they get out.... Or sometimes on sunny days I just pull them out the window The seats actually sit almost all the way back to the rear doors so there is space in front of them... Not the best design but better than the bench seat and way better than the sideway facing seats... The speaker boxes look pretty cool and would be a good place for subs if you didn't use the truck for camping... As it is that's prime storage space along the side if you have lock and folds...especially with the limited space you have in a 90
