Interesting perspective on the Disco5 and new Defender

Interesting perspective on the current state of offerings from LR. He's making a good point here...the market is changing, and for him, there's no more Land Rover being offered for his needs. I wonder if that will change??

Think about Ford or Chev not offering a pick up truck anymore??

"I've known castrated bulls to come quicker" (speaking of waiting for the new Defender) Hahahahaha!

I saw one in Denver yesterday. Came on it from behind. Hideous. It is officially off my list.

It said DISCOVERY across the back. Folks bring auto's to Denver all the time to high-altitude test them. There were 2 Ferarri's in the Highlands last week with temp tags and some body lines covered up. This Discovery had plates, though. I drove along side it. It was the new Discovery.

The discovery sport says
"Discovery" across the back.

I don't think there are any disco 5's around

Maybe so. If I see it in the neighborhood, I'll get a snap shot. I don't like the Discovery sport either, though...

I never even notice the discovery sports as they blend in with the rest of the grocery getters now.

But in all seriousness, the "Discovery" across the back is hard to miss, but it does bring up the inverse correlation between big bold lettering and quality. Vehicles with real presence need not boast.

Sucks that the video is now gone. That was the best one I have seen in a long time!!

Have to search and see if I can find it somewhere and re-post it.

Glad I got to see it when I did. Maybe LR had it squashed.

I like him, yet I'm not sure how people could have misinterpreted what he was saying. I fully expected that it was taken down because JLR had commented to him about material defamation or something or other.
