Now that's interesting.

So, at least in AC Delco's case, factory filters flow better, catch more dirt, and take longer to clog.

Thats not what I got from it, the test to me shows more flow for the K&N and less dirt recovery. Makes sence, the higher the flow rate, the more dirt gets through. I saw this test or one similar a year or two ago. Reeks of global warming to me, could be true but I doubt it.

I don't care what that says, on 2 different vehicals I have had a K&N filter stop muddy water from entering an engine where oil seals have let it in. Both times the outside of the oil filter was covered in mud but the inside was nice and clean. Maybe next time I do something stupid I'll take pics.
