Mini has the worst quality rating of all vehicles. With Land Rover in the mix that's quite a feat.

My mom has had two of them and I sell parts for them. The 2002-3 are the worst of the mix the 2005/06 is a better car. 2007 and up seem to be great cars.

Give 'em another year or two for all the plastic crap to start breaking. Speaking as a long term BMW owner, anything built by BMW since about 1995 is best avoided.

Personally, I draw the line at about 1988. I'll stick to cars with engines built of metal, with no silicon chips, thanks very much.
