I'm not sure exactly how, but I'm pretty certain this is Gwyneth Paltrow's fault.

There should be practical advice for people who suspect they have Ebola ... or are feeling sick.
  1. Stay where you are to avoid exposing people.
  2. Emergency services will collect you from your location in an Ambulance.
  3. You will be taken to a hospital / facility that is prepared to treat infectious diseases.
  4. There will be no cost to you for any of this treatment.
  5. People travelling, wondering into hospital etc are just increasing the risk of infection.

I was on a risk call where they were talking about the challenges of dealing with Ebola.

Just a few happy facts ... Ebola is about 1000x's as contagious as something like HIV ... which is already infectious! As symptoms develop the person and fluids become more infectious. The person can generate 14 liters of diarrhea which has to be treated. The nurse who got infected was wearing 3 pairs of gloves ... she probably made a mistake removing those gloves and touched her wrist ...

Didn't I hear that a research facility that was studying Ebola on monkeys had to destroy all of the animals as they had contracted the disease even though they had zero interaction with each other, they had found or concluded that it had mutated to an airborne disease.??

Life mandates evolution...live or die...the quick or the dead. If it hasn't evolved (mutated) it will, airborne or otherwise. Mother nature is great at weaponizing. The thing about all of this is the banter becomes the truth.
