In or out referendum

Well today is the day it goes to referendum to decide if the UK will "remain" in or "leave" the EU. This has dominated the news for far to long and really polarises opinions. As an outsider living out here I am happy to sit back and watch what happens. I feel I hear very valid points from everyone I speak to about it, from both sides.

It is going to be interesting. We were talking about this the other day at work. My co-worker brought up all the Brits that are living in Spain. There is about 750K of them. Wonder if they are going to have to move back to the UK since they will probably no longer be eligible for healthcare in Spain.

I fear this will be a no-win situation given the close opinion polls we've seen. Either way people will beat the dead horse, like many topics here in the US, and it will be the new excuse for why UK leaders can't make meaningful progress.

Its extremely close with the major storm in the south east likely to dampen voting. Voting is reported very heavy in areas where my family are located. Others voted by mail.

The Clash predicted this vote years ago in their song "Should I stay or should I go".

My prediction, Bremain by a whisker.

I am supposed to wire some money today for some parts. Crossing my fingers and holding off until tomorrow.
