Imported an Ex-MOD 90

After thinking about it for a long time I bought a RHD Ex-MOD 90 in the UK (via eBay) and picked it up from the port (Baltimore) on Friday.

I started by contacting Abe (Solarguy) after seeing his comments about his service for sourcing Ex-MOD trucks. I'd called both Witham's and Blanchard in the past but got nowhere as just another overseas caller. Abe's contact at Witham's got me two good options (110 Tithonus and LHD 90 Hardtop) to consider (with price and pictures) and the option of having them independently inspected. The Tithonus was the best value but I decided against the extra length and weight. The Witham's 90 seemed a little threadbare and pricey relative to the Tithonus, and so I hesitated on that one too.

Abe was totally fine with my dithering and found the eBay ad for the 90 I bought at about the same time I saw it listed on a club website. The seller was excellent to work with and honest. Uncle Doug handled the shipping and was patient with my 'rookie' questions.

I did a lot of research before contacting Abe and Doug. Their knowledge and guidance was key and I recommend them both.

Thanks Jeremy. Glad you went for the adventure of picking it up @ the port. Many ask me to have them transported.

That looks like it should be a hoot and serve you well...and it's not like the RHD thing is totally foreign to you

All the best...
